Day 1
Depart USA - Your exotic journey to Vietnam begins as you board an your selected flight to Vietnam.
Day 2
Bangkok, Thailand - Arrive Bangkok and transfer to your hotel.Bangkok - After breakfast at hotel, start your discovery of this " Land of Smiles" by visiting some of the most outstanding Buddhist temples in Bangkok: Wat Trimit, Wat Po and the White Marble Temple, which represents the finest example of Thai architecture. B
Day 3
Bangkok - Hanoi - Today you will fly to Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. You are met and escorted to your hotel. B, L, D
Day 4
Hanoi - Explore Hanoi's cultural and historic highlights by a tour to Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda and Temple of Literature. Driver through Vietnamese countryside to Halong. Lunch at local restaurant in Haiphong. Arrive Halong in the late afternoon. B/L
Day 5
Hanoi - Halong Bay - Today discover Halong Bay - "Bay of descending dragon" on a 5-hour boat cruise the Picturesque Halong Bay comprises of over 3,000 small jagged limestone islands that rise out of the South China Sea. Enjoy a seafood lunch on board. Drive back to Hanoi. B/L
Day 6
Hanoi - Danang - Transfer to the airport for flight to Danang. Sightseeing in Daning includes Cham Museum, Marble Mountains. Continue to Hoi An. B/L/D
Day 7
Danang - Hue - Drive through the beautiful Hai Van Pass. Cruising on Perfume River. Overnight stay in Hue. B/L/D
Day 8
Hue - Visit Imperial Palace, home to the Royal family before 1945; citadel, two mausoleums and the market.
Day 9
Hue - Ho Chi Minh - This morning, take a short flight to Ho Chi Minh City (once known as Saigon). City Tour includes China Town, Thien Hau Pagoda, History Museum, former Presidential Palace and Lacquer ware workshop. B/L
Day 10
Ho Chi Minh - Excursion outside the city to Tay Ninh, the center of the Cao-Daism religion. On the way back, explore the Cu Cai tunnel network, dug by Viet Cong forces during the Vietnam War. B/L
Day 11
Ho Chi Minh - Excursion to My Tho. Visit Vinh Trang Pagoda. Take a boat trip on the Mekong River, passing fishing villages and farmlands of the Mekong Delta. Back to Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon. B/L/D
Day 12
Ho Chi Minh - Bangkok - Fly to Bangkok today (or join our Cambodia extension.) Rest of the day at leisure. B
Day 13
Bangkok / USA - Transfer to the airport for your flight return home. B
Extension: Angkor Wat/Cambodia
Day 12
Ho Chi Minh City - Phnom Penh - Fly across the border to Cambodia's capital Phnom Penh to visit the Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda and Natic Museum B/L/D
Day 13
Phnom Penh - Siem Reap - After a short flight , arrive at Siem Reap, where the stunning Angkor Wat complex is located. Visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple, Elephants Terrace, Angkor Wat, and Phnom Bakheng. B/L/D
Day 14
Seim Peap - A full day to explore Angkor Wat. B/L/D
Day 15
Siem Reap - Bangkok B - Today we bid farewell to Angkor Wat as we fly to Bangkok.
Day 16
Return - Today our journey comes to an end as we board out flight home.
