Day 1
Depart USA - Fly transpacific aboard your chosen carrier.
Day 2
Arrive Beijing - Land in China's capital, Beijing. Meet your guide at the airport and transfer to your hotel.
Day 3
Beijing - Your first stop today is the impressive Tiananmen Square, the heart of Beijing. Then on to the Forbidden City, Continue to the Summer Palace, the famous resort rebuilt by the Dowager Empress Ci Xi. Take a boat cruise in the Kunming Lake. This evening you are invited to a "Peking Duck" dinner banquet. B, L, D
Day 4
Beijing - An exciting day begins with a stroll along the ancient promenades of one of the world's great wonders, the Great Wall. Later, visit the legendary Ming Tombs, resting place of 13 emperors. B, L
Day 5
Beijing / Xian - This morning, you'll get a glimpse of daily life by touring the Hutong, old Beijing's narrow lanes, by bicycle or three-wheeled pedicab. After lunch, fly westward to Xian, ancient capital of eleven dynasties and China's most important archaeological site. B, L, D
Day 6
Xian - Visit the magnificent Terra Cotta Warriors, a vast collection of life-sized soldiers, horses and chariots entombed with the Emperor Qin Shi Huang. Tonight, enjoy a post-dinner show at the Tang Dynasty Theater. B, L, D
Day 7
Xian / Chongqing - Fly to Chongqing. Tour the city and Panda Garden. Board a Regal China Cruise ship after dinner. B, L, D
Day 8
Chongqing / Fengdu - Your cruise departs Chongqing in the morning and arrives at your first port Fengdu in the afternoon. Known as the "Abode of Devils," Fengdu and nearby Pingdu Mountain, attracts tourists with its temples and shrines dedicated to the gods of the underworld. Within, instruments of torture and wild demon images are displayed. B, L, D
Day 9
Badong - Today you'll sail through miles of spectacular, awesome gorges. At noon, you'll arrive at Badong and take a shore excursion along Shennong Stream in wooden sampans pulled by local trackers. Sailing through the treacherous gorges with lush pine and translucent water, you will see spectacular sights: ancient roads, ancient cave coffins, aquatic caves, rainbow fountains and rare animals such as the golden-haired monkey. Day 10
Sandouping - The most talked about Yangtze River Dam project, currently under construction, will be the world's largest dam generating hydro-electric power. This afternoon, you will have a chance to see the project site. Afterwards, you'll pass through the Gexhouba Dam ship lock. B, L, D
Day 11
Wuhan-Shanghai - Arrive at Wuhan at 12 p.m. Disembark after lunch. Fly to Shanghai, China's largest city. Upon arrival, you will be met by our representatives and transferred to your hotel. You may choose to rest in the hotel or wish to stroll along the Bund after dinner or walk down Nanjing Road for shopping. B, L
Day 12
Shanghai - Sightsee Shanghai: Yu Yuan Garden, the Bund, Jade Buddha Temple and the Children's Palace. Enjoy a thrilling acrobatic show after dinner. B, L, D
Day 13
Shanghai / USA - Transfer to the airport for your flight home. B
